ON VIEW: SPRING 2008 ‘NY ASIA WEEK’ SEASON
Korean Art from Private American Collections: 1945-1965

 

Highlighting each collector’s deep bond with Korea from having
lived and worked in Korea and Japan soon after WWII and the
Korean War, a comprehensive array of art of Bronzes, Early Pottery,
Ceramics and Paintings are featured.

KooNewYork is delighted to feature the video art of Lee, Lee-Nam
(b. 1969). Unique among his contemporaries, his daring embrace
of Korea’s traditional roots harmoniously melded with technology
creates a compelling universal metaphor.
